No leaks so far. Worth what I paid.

8L Bag is the perfect size for a lg. book, like a Bible. Works great and it is waterproof. I would recommend this as emergency waterproof backup. I would not leave it in the bottom of a wet canoe all day. I wish I ordered 4 more. Meritline has great customer service, and ships quickly considering point of origin. 10 days to USA, Midwest.

The order arrived in very good condition. I ordered 4 of these (random colors: 3 were blue/ 1 was red). At first I thought there was no way to close it, until I looked at the product photo. Just roll the top a few times, curve the top around, then lock the buckle. It made a fairly air-tight pillow, so that was reasonable. I will have to test moisture proofness later. I would not say that the bags I got were capable of holding 8 liters, though. You could put in, not quite two, 2-liter soda bottles. I can keep my soda bottles dry! Still, at this price it is worth the purchase.

I got this bag to see how it did on motorcycle camping expeditions. The size is good, just small enough to stuff and then slide into a Giantloop bag to keep clothes, food, whatever dry. I haven't tested it's waterproofness yet but it appears it'll do alright. It's definitely not the heavy PVC I was expecting, but it feels a lot like thin waterproof shell material, so I have high hopes. If mine works out I'll probably buy a couple more to keep stuffing the bag with. Worth a few bucks for sure.

I ordered the 5 pack, and they arrived quicker than I expected. The bags are on the small side, and the material is thin, but they seal up well. Took them out in the boat and they performed well. To give them a good "water" test, I filled one of the bags to the top with water then rolled the seal down and clipped it closed. I let it hang from the D ring for 24 hrs. with no leaks. Then I left it on it's side for another 24 hours with only a small amount of seepage along the bottom of the bag where it contacted the table. These bags are by no means professional quality waterproof bags, but they are fine if you don't need to punish them. The bags passed my test just fine, and I will order more to add to my BOB as a multi--use item. (water resistant storage, canteen, inflatable pillow).

I ordered 3 a couple months ago and recently ordered 3 more. I filled two with water to test them and one leaked a little from the bottom seam, the other was water tight. Some Seal-All on the bottom seam sealed the first fine. I managed to fit my boat toolkit in one. For my kayak I put my wallet, cellphone and keys in a ziplock bag and then in the tube bag (belt and suspenders) along with a small towel. If you seal some air in the bag it will float with a reasonable load. The thin material might be easy to puncture, but it is waterproof and folds very compactly.

Haven't tried them camping, but I tested them in the pool. Everything stayed dry...though I believe the purpose isn't to buy a waterproof bag, but to allow you to get out of w.e wet situation you are in with everything dry. Good for that purpose.
