Meritline.com Verified Buyer I bought one of these flashlights a couple of weeks ago to test drive. They are great. Tough metal case. Extremely bright for a single led light. Zoom works smoothly and only needs one AA battery. I am ordering 2 more to keep in my glove compartments.

a great little light for 5 bucks!! however, it's not terribly waterproof.. i was holding mine in my mouth and saliva (i know: EEEWWWW!!) got into the switch and the switch stopped functioning BUT, i removed the switch and let it sit on top of something warm for awhile, and it "self-repaired"!! also, it came with a lanyard which is useless unless you have a hand the size of a 3 year old's!... a big plus that i accidentally discovered is that if you depress the switch only partially, the light will dim!!... partially push again and it'll blink!!! ya can't beat it for $5!!! oh yeah: it takes AA batteries which sure beats some of the odd ball, hard to find (and expensive) batteries...

Meritline.com Verified Buyer When I recieved this torch flashlight I was not expecting too much. The price was low and the unit is smaller than most of the others. So, I put a battery in the little thing in broad daylight and pushed the button. Holy cow, it threw light acroos a 15 foot room that shined brighter than the indirect sun light on the wall. The Zoom function spreads the light to cover more area. This has never been something you could do with an led flashlight. In the last power outage we put it on the table in pinpoint mode. It lit the whole up so we could read and stuff. I ended up buying a lot more units. With these you can put one in each room and light up every room in your house. The neighbors will assume that your power is not out; and they would wonder how that could be when the rest of the neighborhood is dark.

Meritline.com Verified Buyer Ordered two of these flashlights. One was DOA, have requested an RMA to replace it. Otherwise a great little flashlight. Very bright for its size..would recommend.
