Makes a handy light to keep in your car's glovebox. It's a good light for close work, but not good for casting a beam very far. Spend your money on the "Focus Zoom Lens Cree Q3 Flashlight Torch Light Lamp" (188-912-001) if you want a great flashlight!

This is updated review after buying another flashlight here (SKU:188-751-001). Compared with that single AA torch, this one is definitely mediocre. There is no beam focus adjustment either. Not sure whether it is genuine CREE, but I would recommend paying 2 more bucks for the other model.

Bright, very bright. The flash light mode is a bonus. The overall build quality is solid. I like the "square" body shape just so it doesn't roll away. It fits well in my hand. Only bummer is that it did take 3 weeks to receive but it was described and warned in the product description. It was shipped from Singapore, so 3 weeks was not ridiculous. I wish they had kept stock within the USA for faster shipping. But the product is nice. I highly recommend it.
