I am very dissapointed in Meritline on this one. Most of my other purchases here have been good. I bought this switch to replace a very good 3 device switch I had previously purchased from Meritline. My setup is a Panasonic Viera Plasma and a Panasonic Viera Blu-Ray player. Well, this switch would not show an image for the Blu-Ray player, no matter which input I tried. It worked for my cable box, but not the Blu-ray, which would just display that there was an HDMI communication error. The Blu-Ray works when connected without the switch, and worked with the old switch, so I blame this new switch's design... Soo... back to Meritline it goes, but they made me eat $8.84 in return shipping (on a switch that cost not much more than that), which I could have used to buy lunch, or even set on fire and it would have had more value for me. Should have bought better elsewhere. I'll know better next time.

This is a great unit. Works like it should. I tried the cheaper unit ( 195-119-001 ) and it failed after 8 months. It is also failing for a friend. The unit is very heavy and feels like it will last a long time. Could be filled with lead ingots but right now works like a champ.

I purchased one of these a few weeks ago. It is very very small, but solidly built, and quite heavy for its size. So far, it has worked flawlessly. I would highly recommend this switch to anyone wanting an HDMI switch.

I bought this to replace and existing switch with an unfavorable port layout. I like all the ports in the back. The remote is cheap but works fine. No power seems to be required to operate, but it comes with a power supply. The only problem I've seen is that it doesn't detect input changes well. Consequently, I have to manually switch the inputs.

I have had mine over a year and it is spectacular in performance. I truly recommend this one if you have more HDMI devices than you have HDMI inputs on your TV.

Ordered this unit to expand my limited HDMI connections on my surround sound system. I plugged everything in upon arrival and it works great. I was able to use the inputs for my son's XBOX 360 and PS3. I like that it's compact and seems to be well built as it was heavy for a small unit. The only thing I find annoying is the blue power light, it is just too bright; other than that great unit and no problems so far. Even the tiny remote works good even at a long distance.
