This is my sixth order for Verbatim 9471 DVD-R discs. Meritline is the best company for these kinds of products I have ever used. It's the first place I look. These Verbatim discs are the most reliable, near %100, and the one failure may have been my own fault. They play on every kind of DVD player I have ever used. I like to record at 4X and never have a player compatibility problem. Yes it can make a positive difference using the slower burn. I have tried all kinds of other brands and none compare with this Verbatim or come close even. Meritline delivery is the fastest of any other companies even at the standard slow rate. Nobody asked me to or told me to say all this.
