We have purchased 6 of these so far and given some to family members. That should tell you how pleased we are with the quality and performance.

THis is wonderful especially in remote villages of India. I heard that it costs $20 somewhere in India so it was a great deal. Cranking may not be the preferred way but solar option makes this perfect buy.

Good product, a little flimsy, but worth the money.

Very nice...with an output to charge something else. No mention of what.

Had my doubts that this product would be any good. More than pleasantly surprised. It is tiny as though for a child, yet delivers light as promised. Plan to use it during our hurricane season. No batteries? Crank and solar powered? No brainer for the price.

The light is just OK. I would say that it is not very bright. You can't read with it. The beam is very uneven. It's good for emergencies, if your other lanterns burn out but I wouldn't use it for camping. It also does not charge well by light. You need to crank a lot. There's also a high pitch chirp when cranking. Not worth the $11 I paid.

Got this as an emergency light. Hand creank is needed when there is no sun or if it has been in storage for long time. Light is adequate for emergencoes, camping or walking reading etc. Smaller than expected. Well built but have NOT dropped it yet so do not know how rugged. Would buy again for earthquake kit, gifts etc.

Excellent for my GrandMother Village where electricity is still a dream. Works great and charges Cell Phone too. Strange that electricity is not supplied continuously but everyone has 1 or more cellphones.
