THis use to be labeled on the site as "Police 3Watt", though that description is now applied to another product. I am kind of an LED flashlight junkie - I like having them around and have bought many over the last several years - from cheap $1 units to some that I am somewhat embarrassed to admit how much I spent. This particular flashlight is one of the best of the bunch. Compared to every 1Watt unit I have, this one is significantly brighter. It is not as bright as a true 3watt (and a bit larger) flashlight I also own, but this one is better made - quite solid, it really is waterproof (assuming you have screwed the end cap on securely). Don't look directly at the light... it is quite bright. THis item makes a great gift.

Bright light but not ajustable like many of these are, only has one battery. Very poor machining of the end with the lens has VERY sharp edges, so not for kids.

It does what I bought it for (reading the numbers on small electronic parts). It's not as bright as SKU:403-694-001, but that's fine for this purpose. I don't make a habbit of dunking my lights, so I'm not sure how water proof it is. Sometimes the battery button will need to be unscrewed a little then screwed back on for proper electrical contact.

I also am a flashlight nut. I really like this little one. It uses a single AAA battery and is both bright as well as having a very nice spot focus. I've had many weak led flashlights but this is not one of them! It is well made and the switch is good.

This is a very good lite for the money i have look at others ones but this one bets them all very bright and you do not have to foucs it i like because you only need a 1AA Batt for it
