For those inside the United States thinking about buying this phone. Notice that it's 3G abilities are limited to the 900 and 2100 frequencies. The US 3G network runs off off the 850 and 1900 frequencies. You will be able to use this phone in the US, but you will be limited to 2G data speeds.

Phone is sleek and calls were clear, however the micro sd card did not work. You need sd card to take pictures and record video. LG USA does not support this phone as it is a world phone (Portugal). Asked me to contact seller to replace phone. However, Meritline did not replace phone. Watchout it has only 3 day return policy or 15 day repair policy.

The phone I got is the Portugal version but I can set system language to English, Spanish, other European languages, Korean, etc. It doesn't have Chinese, Japanese, or other Asian languages support (displaying in those languages is OK though). When I received it, it had Android 1.6 installed, not 2.1. But I updated through the LG update software and now it's 2.1. Although the CPU is only 600MHz, its operation is smooth and quite responsive. It's a fun phone to use and for under $200 it's definitely a good buy.

I like the phone, only thing I was up sad with is that the ad said the phone operates on android 2.1 version, but the phone came in with 1.6 version. Also if u use the phone in New York, it runs on 2G instead of 3G.

used it for 30 mins. It is small, came with Android 2.1 installed. Fast enough for every task I tried. Nice plastics. Comes with English/Portuguese manual.
