Works fine, plug & play. Just remember if you want to run a hard drive or a printer you would be better off getting a powered USB Hub. These are fine for Flash drives, mice or keyboards , web cams etc.

This is overall a bad product. The construction looks cheap and there is a small screw holding it together that is not shown in the pictures. More importantly, after a few months of usage it no longer works correctly with my usb drive. When plugged in the drive makes a funny noise and doesn't come up in the system ( this doesn't happen if connecting directly without the hub) and afterward I have to run chkdisk on it before I can use it again. This has the potential to ruin your drive, so I urge you not to buy it.
