Unlike most NiMH batteries, these hold their charge much longer (90% after 6 months, 85% after 1 year). That makes them ideal for cameras and other devices that aren't used daily. I bought some for my Harmony remote control, that is hard on batteries. They come fully charged. Before I used them, I measured the remaining charge in my set of 4. They were between 738 and 756 MAH. Who knows how long they were sitting around since they were manufactured? Higher capacity is meaningless if it leaks away while sitting unused.

I bought these batteries for my wireless headphones. So far I am very happy with them. Haven't had any problems. Sat for hours with them on, while watching movies on my computer. Worked great! Never died!
