Nice bright light. However, the switch does not make consistent contact and the battery configuration is strange. To get to 4.5V there are two batteries in parallel which are in series with two more batteries. Why not use three batteries?

An astoundingly good product sold at an impossibly low price. I imagine that 4AA batteries means you will not have to change batteries very often considering it's an LED not a bulb. The # of batteries makes this bulkier than any other head light I have, but it's also brighter. So I'm fine with it. Contrary to what a couple others have said the strap is definitely strong enough to hold the light in place even while sweating. You do have to know how to properly adjust it to fit though. The switches seem sturdy too, which is a good thing, because I've had endless problems with the made in China flashlights of all kinds. For some reason the connections in the switches become faulty very quickly and you end up with a flashlight that keeps turning off and on. No problem like that with this product, even after I dropped it by accident a few times. Finally, I'm glad to see something that place function over design. No it's not cute, but it does its job better than all the cutesy compet

Great light...cheap price. Iffy on the pad behind light that touches forehead. The material sorta sticks to your head, keeping the light in place, but probably become very slippery and move about if sweating.

head strap broke immediately upon trying it on. lites are bright and clear. would be nice to be able to wear it on my head.

Seems a little bulky for a head lamp, but I didn't buy it for that use anyway. Works well, very bright and dependable. Great used as flashlight, or for me I use the strap to attached it to my patio pole for barbecuing. I think it's a great deal, especially for the price.

We took it for our camping and we are satisfied with its bright light with two AA cells. But power switch button was bit loose so I modified manually little bit to make it working when I switch on and off the button.
