Can't comment on the quality of the cables, as they weren't used. I didn't realized they were being drop-shipped from China, and therefore took nearly a month to arrive. I had to go buy local cables to complete my install, making the "savings" on these cables a total waste.

The connectors are made very well and fit nice-n-tight on their own. And with the metal clips I now have complete peace of mind, knowing that I never have to worry about disturbing the data connections of my drives while I'm doing other work inside my pc. -I VERY HIGHLY RECOMMEND THESE-

I got two of these, they both did not work for me. It also requires a direct ide cable from the mb, so you cannot hook up anything else to the ide cable. I bought a more expensive one from the store and it worked like a charm and I can add another device to the ide strip.
