    Very slow writes, very peaky reads. I thought I could use this as a boot/root disk for my media server, but it's just too slow to be usable. If you just want a usb stick, and don't care about performance, and this one happens to be on sale really cheap, it does the job. But of all the old last-generation flash drives I have in my stash, this one is the slowest. It averages a somewhat respectable 31MB/sec read rate, but writes at an average of 2.4MB/sec, which is almost 3x slower than my old 8G Cruzer drive.

    Good basic flash drive. Large capacity (I got the 16GB) and low price. The metal swing shield is a bit awkward to use, but easy to remove if it bothers you. Overall, a great value on no-frills flash storage.

    This is a cool and very functional USB stick. It works great and I could even use it as an additional Flash RAM on my PC. Also and very important, it is quite secure and easy to carry!

    PRO: I like that this flash drive has an LED that turns on when plugged in, and blinks during data transfer. This is a welcome change because my main flash drive doesn't have one. Now I can see if there is any activity so I know when I can pull it out. Speed test: Read=21.90 MB/Sec, Write=7.31 MB/Sec. This is a very sturdy, low cost drive and is working well. CON: It doesn't come with a cord or way to attach it to a key chain. It's got 2 holes in the end that can be threaded with a cord but it cannot take a metal key ring (unless its very small, like 1/4 inch diameter).
