The first set I ordered didn't come with any instructions or warnings. The gloves themselves are passable- they worked and started heating as soon as I plugged them in. There's a small velcro strip inside them that the heating pad attaches to, so wearing them without the pads in will result in scratched hands. A shame, because they look rather neat.

I do data entry in a cold warehouse so these were perfect. My hands actually got so warm a few times that I had to unplug them. The cord is long enough to manage a keyboard and mouse with them on.

A little smaller than I thought they would be but the heat is much better than I though. These are probably women's size but the material is a bit firm but once you get used to moving your fingers against the resistance, they're fine.

The glove warms up fast, but after the 1st day one of them stop working. The next day the other one only work on and off and by the end of the day it stop working at all.

The gloves are extremely warm and comfortable, because they're made of a fleece-like, very smooth wooly material. The heating pad is just velcroed inside -- it's a resistor and it takes 25mA of electricity from half the USB port's power output and turns it into heat. Don't get them wet! A few of the fingerholes on mine were fraying and had small threads pulling out when they were brand new. I suppose I don't mind that much, but it speaks to the YMMV quality of the product. I would really like them except for one thing: they smell really bad, highly toxic chemically-bad. Whether plugged in or not, they smell like a combination of mothballs and acrid ozoney burnt electrical stuff scent. I'm afraid to use it, and it really isn't pleasant. Bad batch, perchance?

The gloves were a real novelty! Heated gloves were what I wanted, but these have to be connected to a computer! Surprise! I guess they would work great if you commuted by bus or train but not really practical anywhere else.
