    There are one watt bulbs and add one watt bulbs. Some are bright and some are not. I wish they were all rated by the light output of the energy used. In any case, this is one SERIOUSLY BRIGHT HEADLAMP! The best one watt bulb I've ever seen- even with rechargeable batteries. The 1 W flashlight (600-301-001) on this website by contrast is lousy. Headlamp is quite compact, light and overall well-made. No rubber gasket on battery door, so I question if this is really waterproof. But door fits tightly so probably rain resistant.

    Pro: Luxon LED with their special lens give superior, even, non-hotspot beam. Maybe: Aluminum? feels like aluminized plastic to me. Water proof? No. No gasket, just a somewhat tight fit plastic bottom. Water would get in easily. Con: Battery contacts were too soft and bendable. After three insertions I had to rebend it to make good contact. To fit my big head I had to remove the top strap. Summary: Given the price this is a bargain (when on sale.)

    The LED headlamp is bright, light weight and compact design but the body quality is not top rated. You get what you paid for.

    I received the product on time as expected. It's perfect for camping especially at night to go to restroom, prepare/fix the tent. A strong beam of white bright light is very useful. It's worth the money.

    I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of this headlamp. I've bought the other style with the large knob on the side and those all failed quickly. This one looks like quality construction and is still working. The 1 watt led is super bright. My son even discovered another mode not listed. If you hold down the button it will go into a SOS pattern. I'll buy a couple more of these next chance I get. Not as good as an expensive name brand headlamp but at 1/6th - 1/10th of the cost it's money well spent. A++++++ value.

    The best I've used of all the headlamps. Very light, compact, made from metal looking plastic that looks very techy. I just got back from camping with my buddies. All of us tried to see who has the best headlamp. I beat all of them in brightness and distance covered. One guy even paid 10X of my purchase price. Just buy this!!!

    This is a very bright light. When I bike I can spot potholes with it, unlike my regular bike light. The only downside is that it smells of cheap plasticizers. Many chinese products dilute rubber with plastic, and add plasticizers to make it soft again. The foul smell is almost unbearable. There is so little rubber in this light that cutting such corners seems silly.

    Pretty good light especially considering the price. Certainly bright enough for the majority of tasks you may use it for. The LED was a little on the blue side, but not as bad as many lights I've used. The main downside is that you have to cycle through all of the modes before you can turn it off. But once again considering the price, I can live with it.

    As advertised. Nice and bright. Very adjustable. My head must be extra big. The head strap is tight for me. Using a rechargeable battery helps keep the cost of AAA's in check.

    Excellent flashlight, but sometimes it will flicker and go dim. I checked the batteries to make sure that they are in their tight. It will work for a little while and then do it again. All in all it is a good light, but have to put up working part time

    The good: Lightweight, simple design, bright light. Easy to don/remove. Three light modes (normal, bright, flashing). The bad: Mode button is hard to press. Straps could be a little longer to adjust for those of us with big heads.

    Pluses and minuses for this headlamp. Sigh. Superbright, uses standard batteries, no dark ring around lighted area as with some flashlights, very low battery use. BUT - the elastic headband is way too tight for an adult head! I will have to sew a piece into is to extend it. Even on the largest adjusted setting, it is much too tight, unless maybe you have the head the size of a 5-year old child. Who tests these things and passes them?

    Excellent brightness. 3 modes of operation: On, Blinking, and SOS pattern (by holding the button down for a few seconds). The only downside is the top strap is too small, but it is not necessary to use.
