Meritline.com Verified Buyer These little guys are BRIGHT, (do not look at them when connecting to a power sourece!). Bought two of these and connected to a 9VDC adapter I had laying around and they worked great. I had tried them first on a 9V battery and nearly blinded myself! I have since built an under-counter light strip using these, and will be buying more soon. And no, there is no thermal runaway, I have been using this home-made light-strip for several months now, and have left it on all night a few times. No, it will not light up the entire room, but it works great under the kitchen cabinet, over the counter. And since they are less than a 1/4" thick, they are great for that application.
