    I got this case because I needed something for storage and saw the reviews here about it being a good value. In my opinion it was a fair value, for a number of reasons. The durability is mediocre, with the expense of it being light, there s no real durable metal, its like cardboard and tin. The latches are the only metal, handles are plastic, and the inside rails are flimsy. I used without the sleeves (had cd jackets already) and the cds barely fit in width. The top doesnt remove like the smaller version, and the other thing I didnt care for is the handles on the side. I would have love to see a handle on the top, but I guess it would break because the case is so thin. Hope my review helps.

    It does what it is made to do. Great for organizing your disks.It was a life saver to me. Not really made to take a lot of abuse, but made well enough to last if you are reasonable with it.

    I wish this one came in black. They have the smaller one but I want the 1000 one in black. maybe they are working on it.

    I bought this when my dvd collection was starting to exceed 400 titles. It was becoming a PITA to mess with finding the case and putting the movie back. It was also starting to take up a lot of room. Thank good I didnt leave the movies in the orginal case

    Nice case, built well. The only complaint I had was the folders did not stay in order during shipping. One row was in tact so I had to sort 800 plus folders. (Not Fun)

    I HAVE BOUGHT FOUR OF THESE CASES IN DIFFERENT SIZES; NOW THAT MY COLLECTION IS GETTING LARGE I BOUGHT A 1000 DISCS CONTAINER, THE PRODUCT IS GREAT. THE CASE IS STURDY AND WELL MADE. THE SLEEVES USE TO HAVE PULL OUT PIECES WHICH ONE WOULD NEED TO TEAR OUT TO GET THEM READY TO PLACE DISKS INTO THEM, NOW THE TABS HAVE BEEN PRE TAKEN OUT - NICE CHANGE, THE DISC SLEEVES HANG ON ALUMINUM RAILS WHICH MAKE STORING THEM A CINCH, AND THE ONLY DIFFICULT THING REGARDING THIS ITEM IS WHEN YOU WANT TO SEE A DISK ON THE BACKSIDE OF THE SLEEVE(THERE IS SPACE FOR A DISC ON THE FRONT SIDE AND ALSO ON THE BACKSIDE)IT CAN BE SOMEWHAT HARD TO SEE IT. THIS MEANS ONLY THAT ONE MIGHT NEED TO TAKE THE SLEEVE OUT TO FULLY SEE A TITLE OR WHAT HAVE YOU. I AM THOROUGHLY SATISFIED WITH THESE CASES. AND THE PRICE IS RIGHT TOO.

    I have the 1000 capacity storage case which I haul around alot. 1000 CDs are quite heavy, but this case is incredibly durable!

    Even better than expected. All sleeves come prenumbered for easier indexing. nice case, designed well so when moved the sleeves don't get messed up.

    Excellent buy. This all- aluminum hard case with key locks neatly organizes all my DVDs in one secured and handy location. A must buy for all DVD enthusiasts.

    The case you will receive is not the case that is pictured (which is a sturdy Merax case that MeritLine sold a few years ago). The case you will receive is a cheap knockoff that has plastic handles instead of metal. The metal runners on which the disk sleeves hang is very cheap aluminum that you can bend with your hand. Everything about this case is very cheap in construction and not very sturdy. I have a number of the Merax cases and they are far superior to this cheap case which I regret buying. Furthermore, the cardboard box for this cheap case is VERY thin, so one of my cases arrived damaged. Look for a Merax case and forget about this cheap knockoff.
