I set the light near the edge of the desk and shine it on my keyboard tray when I use the PC in a darkened room. Work fine and is plenty bright on the USB chord's power. I don't use the battery power option, but the weight of batteries nicely stabilizes the base. Flexible neck on the light is just barely long enough. Happy with purchase.

I purchased one of these lamps several weeks ago. It is very handy when using my laptop at night. The lamp is well made and bright. The connecting cord is a special assembly unit that may be hard to replace. My rating is excellent value.

Whenever I plug the LED light into the USB slot of my computer, it makes the computer shut down. On battery power the light is great - just have a problem with the USB power.

Small LED light that I use as my computer desk light at night. It shines a reasonable area with enough light and not disturb others' sleeping. The preferred point is that it can work on 3 AAA battery or from USB source.

I was using another light that had the light on one end and a USB connection on the other and was flexible, also purchased from Meritline. It wasn't as bright as I thought it would be. I seen this one in a email ad that they sent me. I love it! Some people have complained it's a bit "top heavy". It is. But...it can also be powered by 3 AAA batteries. Just install some batteries people! It's not going to be perfect....but it will be more stable. This little lamp is super bright and perfect if you don't want the whole room lit up at night. Get one...you won't regret it!

Light works fine and is sufficiently bright for my needs (haven't measured the exact lumens). I like that it can run on AAA batteries or USB power.
