Product is for SATA Hard Drive but the conecting port in the HardDrive Encloser is mirror image of what it suppose to have. I am an computer professional and I found out at same time I opened Encloser pack. No use of Encloser. Completely Waste of Money

The hard drive encasement was in a cheap plastic container that was honestly really pathetic, but after a lot of work prying it open, once you put your 2.5 inch hd in there, you're good to go. It's a one time headache, but you get what you paid for.

Thid case is horrible. !st of all its very difficult to open the the case and then your harddrive won't fit into it. Won't suggest this product at all.

While the actual product looks just like the one in the picture, it has poor quality and shoddy workmanship. First, the top casing does not have screw/s to hold on to the bottom casing. They literally snap together and is very easy to break the cheesy plastic snap that keeps them together. If one does removal of top casing from the bottom one a few times, it will break the snap. I now understand the reason behind the rubber band that came w/ it. :-) Second, the enclosure does not come w/ external power and the supplied USB cable is not long enough. Last but not least, when transferring files from HDD in the enclosure to the computer it is attached with, the USB link keeps on frequently severing causing it to re-enumerate over-and-over again. Bottom line, be careful before you invest in this product. After all, this might look like a great deal (from a price perspective), you get what you pay for. I paid $7.99 and it was not much to lose.

A very enclosure for this low price. I got my Toshiba laptop broke, and I got to recover my data from it. This enclosure helped perfectly. So with this, I now feel like I got a 120GB portable HDD in hand. This also comes with a leather cover and a USB data cable. Would highly recommend to purchase.
