This product is awesome. I travel a lot and was looking for a laser pointer which I can carry in my pocket for presentations. This serves the purpose and it has a additional feature of a flashlight. I highly recommend this product.

The laser is the short type, came with a handy clip attached. It works well, 1 button for the laser, and another for the 2 LED's. I've used it to tease the cats (they love chasing the laser). I clipped it to my work bag, so I can use the laser in meetings when I project images onto the screen during demos. It was less than $2, and worth more than that! A good deal.

The laser pointer key chaintorch is probably worth what I pay for. Not very suitable when searching for key pad numbers on door as the light emitted is barely visible especially when need in dark places.

This combo unit is perfect and practical, and the price was excellent. The led flashlight part is bright and lights up a considerable amount of area. The laser pointer, red, is crisp, clear, and the buttons on the flashlight are comfortable and well designed. We use the laser as a play toy for the cats!-- they go crazy, but have a blast hunting for the red dot. Great purchase.

Body easily unscrews from base which is good for changing the batteries but caused the working end to drop off my key chain. Luckly this happened in my car so I found the batteries, and the body of the torch. For .99 I can't complain tho.

Thought it didn't work at first until I took out the batteries and noticed that they slipped cardboard in to make sure the battery wasn't wasted in transit. Item works perfectly and was a great deal.

Meritline.com Verified Buyer Works great! The laser pointer's bright. I can shine it on a wall 10 metres away from my desk, and it's clearly visible as a dot about 10mm in diameter. The white LED flashlight part isn't particularly bright, but works as well as I'd expect it to, given that it's powered by button batteries. I'd prefer if the buttons were labelled as to which is laser and which is flashlight, but that's a minor quibble. Overall I'm quite happy.

I just received this alleged flashlight. Yes the housling is an aluminium alloy about the thickness of tin foil. No this is not a flashlight. It is horrible and useless. I turned the white light on and even in a closed dark drawer you could hardly even detect the faintest of liggt from 3 inches away. Of course the red light being purposfully dimmer was even worse. It finally showed on a wall when it was about 1 inch away. It may be I received bad batteries but I am astounded at all the positive comments left regarding this item and have to assume they are either fake or my light is defective. Of course only the batteries could be defective as the leds do come on.It's a utter disappointment because I have bought several items from meritline over the past couple years and found them to be of value and worth the price I paid. Not always the best, but always worth what they cost. But this piece is a travesty as even being referred to a as light. Save yoursef the $3 and buy a box of matche

These things are great. The LED flashlight portion is bright and the laser is, well, a laser. It's easy to use. Even my wife asked me to get her one.

Meritline.com Verified Buyer not bad. The only complains is the buttons. I know the button is designed for people using as a laser pointer (a standard design now). I hate the buttons on these easy-to-touch locations. If I place it in my pocket, I am afraid I will change battery every other day. This item provide a protective clip but it only cover one button and may fall off soon. I wish any laser pointer come with a master switch or so to prevent accidental touch

I was impressed with the fact it was packed with a small plastic clip around the button keeping it from getting pushed in transit and running the batteries down. The flashlight portion is plenty bright for small tasks and handy finding the keyhole when I forget to turn the porchlight on.

The buttons feel nice, and both buttons are "instant on" style, so it won't stay on for hours in your pocket and wear down the batteries. The clip works well, but is a bit on the bulky side. That said, it can be easily removed and put to its own use. If you get this on special, you couldn't replace the batteries at that price!

Black color is nice and finish is durable, the red is also very nice. Carabiner clip is very solidly built and securely attached. I am very pleased with this purchase and would buy again for the sale price.

In fact, the two LED's make it much brighter than any of the single LED models, like you might see at the checkout counter of an auto parts store or office supply store. One thing that is disappointing is the construction has changed. I noticed someone complain about the end cap, so I checked it. It used to be a metal, threaded, end cap, but now it's plastic. Even so, the caribiner clip is a lot sturdier than the keyring and chain typically found on items like this. Just be careful not to cross-thread it. The laser, is a laser. It works. Nothing out of the ordinary about that. In summary, this is a very handy tool to keep on your keychain for when you need illumination. This one does the job, and it is very sturdy.

well it worked good for a few weeks but pulled itself apart in my pocket with normal activity....First time just the battery cap came off...second time the entire back fell off.....its cheap tho so u get what u pay for...usefull while it lasted

This is a great product and great value. The laser is quite bright and has huge range. The LEDs are bright. Comes with batteries included and ready to go. THere should be a little write up in the box for danger of Laser beams and the fact that this is not a toy.

This thing works great. The red laser pointer is what I bought it for and works at least 50ft away. The light is pretty bright too. Overall a very handy little gadget.

It is sturdily built, the LED light is bright and the laser pointer is very strong. I tested it in my apartment's corridor and it is highly visible from one end to the other end (60ft. I guess). Of course with such a strong laser make sure don't look directly into it. The flashlight is a bit larger than I thought but it's still small enough to fit in a pocket.

Received it yesterday, worked ok for a couple hours and now will not turn off. When the batteries are installed, and the back cap still off the leds are on. Something defective and/or shorted in this on.

Very nice item for the price. The dual led lights are extremely bright for the size. Lazer light is nominal.

This key chain was just fine for 1 day only, it broke the next day. Very, very poor product to sell online. It is not worth returning the product for a refund or replacement.
