*How to use
1.Turn the laptop with underside facing up;
2.Tear down the top snap slice on the half coolball;
3.Stick it on at the farthest flat end corners;
4.Then snap on the two coolballs;
5.Stick on the two skidproof pad on the nearest flat end corners if there are no skidproof pad on the underside of the laptop to prevent the move of the whole laptop on the desktop.

This is a perfect item for a laptop. You can go with a cooling fan, but then you add noise, and tie up a USB, and have a cable dangling. I have a netbook, and put these on the front end - where it gets hottest. I actually like the tilt of the keyboard. Plus - if I do prop it up on a laptop fan - the feet raise it up even more. I was concerned the velcro tabs would come off, but seem securely fastened. Easy to put on, take off. Simple CHEAP way to extend the live of your laptop! PS: The other reviewer didn't even GET the product! How can you review something you've never tried!

I would prefer they had a soft outer coating, but it is just hard plastic. IN cost of goods, it is overpriced, but in terms of what it does, how well it works, and being described as it really is, it is worth every penny and a great little product.

These notebook mobile cooling balls are simple yet effective. I thought they were heavier from the photos but it turned out they are very light weight plastic which is good because they don't add much to the weight.

Did work well for my studio xps laptop. Atleast the fan doesn't spin as fast and as soon as it used to before.

What are the differences between Item Number: 400-238-001 and Item Number: 400-238-002? That information would be helpful when trying to determine which one is best for me. I'll need to hold off on purchasing either until I know what's what.

It is the same product for both 400-238-001 and 400-238-002. 400-238-001 stands for two pieces of cooling ball, and 400-238-002 stands for four pieces of cooling ball.

The worst product i have bought from Meritline!!!!The concept is fine but execution is lacking....the so-called cooling balls stick to the underside of the laptop,and after having stuck them for about 1 day,they came unstuck.The adhesive used to stick the balls is so cheap that the heat from laptop makes them come off.I would suggest not buying this $4 of worthless @#$$# shit and also advise meritline to sell sturdy/tested products.They import all sorts of cheap junk from Hong Kong.

Had a cooling problem with the laptop and did a lot of research on coolers a year or two ago and came to the conclusion that propping up the back of the laptop 1" or so helps both cooling and with the keyboard angle. So now I use these instead of a cork from a wine bottle split in half. Great idea good results good price!

These cooling balls are the best laptop cooling item that I have come across! I have bought some for everyone in my family that has a laptop. These work better at keeping my laptop cool than a cooling pad or a fan!

I wanted to cool my laptop naturally and purchased these cooling balls. As usual they arrived after 2 weeks. Usually I order and forget the meritline.com order since they ship it from HongKong. After few months of use in backpack the sticker attached to laptop back is displaced and that is tough to take it out and put it back in place, so i left it like that. It doesn't hurt the purpose anyway but looks bad. I recommend this if you want to protect your laptop from heating issues and be sure to use it on hard surface otherwise it will not work. I wouldn't recommend using on lap or pillows etc. You know right what happens ;-) Make sure you have matching color balls. I have a black laptop and cooling balls are white which is odd. I'd rather prefer black ones but got no choice. Happy purchase and great value. Now it extended my laptop's life since it is running fourth year and I will continue to use till it dies.

These balls are a convenient and practical way to keep any notebook cool. I have bought bought them for 3 laptops and the thing I discovered is that wiping the area clean with rubbing alcohol before sticking the ball on improves adhesion considerably. Catch them when they go on sale for under a Dollar :-)

Good, simple, effective device. Gives better airflow to my laptop vents, raises the key board enough for easier typing. I ended up with the pink color which doesn't match my black laptop, but they are hardly noticeable. Take up zero space compared to other laptop coolers.
