The cables worked, are nice and short (great portability), and are both the same color (looks proffessional). I got these esata to sata cables to go with my express card to allow for faster data transfer (capturing images, dumping images, copying data, etc). Using sata instead of USB2.0 is much faster (200mb on USB up to 3gb or as fast as your hard drive will go!). I like these, and at the price I got them for (less than 5 bucks for a pair) they cheaper than one of the 7 footers on the Egg. I'd highly recomend if you have a esata card and are going to be plugging random drives into your system. Remember - unlike the 2.5 ATA drives, ALL sata drives require a seperate power supply. These are found cheap bundled with USB to IDE/SATA adapters. Its best to have both, because you can always fall back to USB if the cards don't work with the equipment you're working on. Overall, buy'em if you got the cards to run them (and the power supply too)!

It's now what I tried to buy. I tried to buy an eSATA to eSATA cable. now it's useless to me.

Perfect for me. I ran out of internal ports & needed to hook up 2 DVDRW drives. I didn't want to use an add-in card to control them, so I figured why not just run the E-SATA into my case. Works like a charm.

Very well made! Nice, thick, BEEFY cables! Both connectors fit very snug. Already proving to be extremely handy. Great purchase!

Very handy & easily connected to my eSATA port. I have to supply power but the data transfer rate is tons faster than if I'd thethered via USB adapter.
