It does work best for me because I have an outlet at center counsel I can easily see my gps on my phone, and use my data usb to plug in to power up.

The device was Dead On Arrival (DOA). Meritline was quick in issuing RMA#, but the return shipping charge is not worth it. This is the 2nd time happening and Meritline knows how to sell junks along with shipping companies.

This device is well made. It holds my iphone and also holds my garmin gps. It has a cigarette lighter plug and a usb plug which is very nice.

Usb is not working. Not still in place. Very poor quality. It broke at the tip after 1 week in the cigarette lighter spontaneously. Think again and again before waste your money with this item.

Item is junk I plugged it into the cigarette lighter socket to adjust it to my likings unplugged it and the fuse shot out and the tip was broken off. Pure junk save your money for a nice one.

For the price, the build quality of this item is nice. I will hold an iphone of a Magellan. With the item plugged in, you have a usb and cigarette lighter for power.
