Meritline.com Verified Buyer Ran out of room.......When I first tried to connect or put my phone into the this battery/case the connection was a little tight and looked like the angle the phone was going in would prevent it from sliding into the power connector. But after a few attempts and jiggling the phone around while pushing it, I finally was ble to hook up my Galaxy to this battery. After a couple times, it gets easier to connect. Oh, the only real thing holding your phone in is a little ridge on the top of the case. You can see it in the left picture. The picture where you can see the description of tghe capacity, input, output, etc. It's above the opening for the camera lense on the edge of the case. It doesn't look like it will hold your phone but will. Hope this helps anyone interested in this battery/case. And I don't know how my first comment was saved twice. Hopefully it doesn't happen to this one.

Meritline.com Verified Buyer Bought this for for $17.99. I think that is the normal everyday sale price, though it states original price as $22.99. It does what it claims it extends/charges my Galaxy III. Claims to be 3000mAh but it definitely is not. I researched that the Galaxy III comes with a 2100mAh battery and this battery will only charge about 75% of that. It gets a little warm when you set it to charge your phone. But does not get warm when you are charging this external battery or if you are charging your phone while it is still connected to this external battery. This external battery is about half the weight if the Galaxy III but will almost double the thickness your phone will take up in your pocket. I still gave it a good rating because it does extend the battery use time. And has come in handy several times when I needed to charge my phone and I didn't have any of my regular external battery chargers like New Trent,Rav Power,Anker, or Meritline's Ocho 5000mAh(0014978-001. Good stand too.
