It works, but it gets VERY hot while charging the S3. (You can smell that "hot plastic" smell.) Battery is large enough to charge the S3 from 50% down to 100% up twice, so should be large enough to charge it from dead to roughly 80%. Stand is OK, nothing special. Micro USB port is upside-down on the case; no biggie just a slight annoyance. Good as a backup emergency case, but I wouldn't use it as my primary case. The only way to charge the phone is via the battery (i.e. you can't plug the usb in and have it charge the battery directly when the case is "off"). OK, does the job, but could be better.
