Don't bother...worked great for about 2 months, but eventually the suction cup stop working and the hinge became too lose to hold my phone in position. I tried to tighten down on the screw on the hinge but that didn't help. It's too bad, because it's compactness makes it a nice mount, but the materials are way too cheap.

These are OK for the price but they move and vibrate more than another similar unit I own. I have 2 of these and a similar mount that the tabs don't fold on. These units are a little thin through the shaft that attaches the phone/gps base to the window base. The small shaft and connection point gives the feeling that it may break soon. This narrow connection point also seems to allow for a lot of vibration that I don't see on my other unit especially with a larger phone mounted. To be fair the comparison unit cost more than twice as much. I love the folding tabs it is nice and compact to throw in a bag for travel.

Meritline.com Verified Buyer These things are junk. The suction is so weak that it will barely stay connected to glass - never mind anything even remotely less ideal than glass (like the plastic disc that comes with it for that very purpose). Even if the suction were strong enough, the mechanism to lock it in place is less than adequate, so the suction would fail eventually anyway. Don't buy.

Meritline.com Verified Buyer AVOID THIS PRODUCT. Mine wouldn't stick to the windshield at all (or within seconds would drop the GPS risking damage to it). It just never developed enough suction, even after I figured out that you were expected to rotate the base to form the suction, which is not documented on the package. It is also very cheaply made. After I gave up on trying to get it to keep suction I just glued it to the console. Second time that I tried to use it that way one of the holding arms snapped off.
