These worked great and make the older IDE-centric power supplies worth getting in this SATA age! I found a 550 watt supply with only one sata hookup for like $30 and it was totally worth it using these. As always with Meritline they were twice as expensive elsewhere

Not as well made as I hoped. One colored wire pulled away from Molex connector contact during first use.

This adapter helps with the old IDE hard drives, so they can be added to newer systems.

It worked but the build quality just do not seem to be there. Also, it was missing about two or three pins from the sata side.?.
