Portable & easy to carry around. It's a must for everyone if they don't need to carry a big tripod.

Are you tired of setting your camera on a bench or a backpack hoping to get the right shot as you set the 10-second delay on your camera. I have used these mini tripods for years ands they are invaluable for trips. Their compactness, light weight, and usefullness is perfect for vacations...especially when you've already got to carry enough other stuff in your tourist bag to keep the family happy. Oh, and while taking pictures while backpacking or camping...well, good luck finding bench to place your camera on. The independantly adjustable legs making any terrain capable of working with this tripod.

For a small tripod, it is very sturdy. I use it primarily for my digital camera's delayed shutter release, and I see no degradation of the image that one might expect if the tripod were shaking. And because of its size, I can always find a small corner of my briefcase to pack it for traveling. It's a great buy!

This item only weighs 3.75 oz and when fully folded, measures only 4.75" from the bottom of the feet to the tip of the screw thread that fits into the camera. The telescoping feet hold their extended position only by a friction fit which cannot be locked, and I suspect that over time, they may become too loose to stay extended unless the camera is very light. However, the swivel head locks firmly.

Poor quality. One of the legs is stock and cannot be extended.
