I wish there'd been an actual review before I bought this. I've only been out riding with it a couple of times, but I expect it to bust into 5 pieces (not including the batteries) when I hit a hard bump. The trouble is that a design flaw doesn't allow it to be closed completely once you install batteries. You have to completely disassemble it to change batteries and the cheap plastic clip (which would wear down/out eventually anyway) will only reach the 1st of 2 notches, leaving an open space and clearly not being very secure. Repeated disassembly would eventually lead to the destruction of the cheap plastic reflector too. There should have been a separate battery door. The brightness and modes were just as I'd hoped, and the bracket is aok, so I'll try using it w/some scotch tape and try to keep it dry. The headlight/bracket works great. No complaints there. It's easy enough to adjust and remove, but not so easy that it would pop out on it's own. Could be brighter, but it's adequate.

One of the two taillights didn't work, took me some time to get it working. The other one works no problem. You have to file down the corners of the reflective plastic inside in order to close the light properly when the batteries are installed. The bracket broke within a few days, and the headlight broke after being caught in a light rain. They're both pretty bright and have plenty of flashing modes to play around with.

The headlight is OK. The taillight is of a flimsy constructuion, and falls apart when installing batteries. I would not recommend it.

The devices themselves worked very well, but the variable flashing bike tail light can not stand any vibration while riding the bike. The cover lenses snap off and fall to the ground. The light still worked after I recovered the pieces and snapped them back together.

The rear tail light is cool, but 7 modes is a little too much:-) I need to push the button three times to use the flashing mode, and another 5 times to turn it off. But it looks cool. The headlight is ok to be seen, but not bright enough.
