It is a thin Jewel Case - and Blue. These are nicely built for general use. I use them for larger client DVD orders of 500+ The only downside is the possibility of broken cases. Acceptable to me - Out of my last order of 500- I lost 8 cases. They are thin and light, but hold together fine and will stand up to repeated use.
