More deceptive marketing by Meritline! The "remote" does not have an LCD as shown in the picture, it's just a sticker that looks like an iPod display. FM Tuner is weak and the sound is full of static and noise. NOT RECOMMENDED! Please don't misunderstand me, I buy a lot of products from meritline and 90% of them are good enough. This is just one that looks like something it's not. Always remember, you get what you pay for.

The review provided by the earlier member is probably right. There is a lot static on this FM transmitter and as a result you cannot hear your ipod music on the car stereo. It is just simply un-usable. The remote is not of much use except for the Mute and Power Off function which can always be done by turning off your car stereo. You cannot skip/play/volume control the ipod using this remote. Meritline needs to remove this product from their website to avoid customer disappointment.

I should take back some of my comments on this product. After playing with this product a little more, I was able to find multiple frquencies where the transmission was great. I am satisfied with this product. As mentioned earlier the remote is the only thing that can be used to tune the frequency, power off or Mute. For the price this product is GREAT.

The transmitter works base on FM frequency. To reduce static sound, please select a FM channel, which is not that busy.

This item is far from useful. The remote does not function as it appears. Stay away from this one as there are better products in this class. Epic Fail. Not worth the money at all.

terrible product! the remote does not control the ipod, the does transmit a clear signal. Don't waist your money!!!

Sorry to say , but this product was dead on arrival .It never worked . no display Unfortunately I couldn't find time to return this . would definitely like to get this replaced

I own this unit and it works just fine. However, they are model specific and you must get one for the newer or older series Apple products. Be careful!
