The S-video to composite video works perfectly, and that's why I bought this. I could cut off the audio plugs and still be happy. For those who are angry about no audio: "This cable only transfer video signal from the S-video port of some laptops, so you can't get audio on your TV through this cable."

cables dont work as intended. color coding was wrong no wonder they were being sold for less. i am never going to buy anything from this site again.

7-pin S-video cable works well, but be aware not all implementations distribute audio through the red/white RCA plugs. This cable transmitted video from my HP notebook PC to my TV just fine, but audio would have to go through the headphone jack.

I ordered for an S. video to 3 RCA male cable, and ended up getting a car mobile charger. I called up the customer care, and the response isnt great at all.

The cable works great as a Svideo but the audio doesn't work, read some where that the PC/Laptop should be capable of doing that but I guess that mentioned clearly on the description of the item. But for the cost not a problem. But Merit line can take care of having correct description on the items (most of the times I don't see it) would be great.Did not work as expected so this rating
