For the price the power conver was decent and did what it was suppose to. I would recommend this power converter to anyone looking for a inexpensive unit for recharging, since the wattage is too low for hair dryers or shavers etc.

This is only 80W so it is more for chargers as mentioned in the other reviews. I read the reviews about no instructions, but the prong side has 117/240 written on a switch. Seems obvious to me I need to set mine to 117V on the prong side for the plug side to be 240. Set to 117, I got 240v as expected. What if I set the switch to 240V and plug it in to my house 120V? I get 60V out as expected. What if you live in a country where the socket volts are 240 and you find a way to plug this in and set it to 117? I would expect it to blow up or put out 480, right? This is just a step up/step down configurable transformer so it does not "sense" anything. It simply halves or doubles depending on the switch position.

Product is excellent, I was confused about enabling 220v output since no documentation attached. but it is working with trail and error method.

No instructions included. One does not know which side of the switch is AC 220 to 110 or AC 110 to 220. I have not used this in fear of burning it upon plugin. If you dont have a voltmeter to check this, you are buying something useless.
