this has a steady RED led and flickers when in use/mounting...a big plus...it looks and feels real and not cheap .. even has holes for a lanyard..got 2 the cap screws on...so less chance of loosing... even off sale...a good buy

This immediately caught my attention since I am a shooter, and the price [on sale] was excellent for a flash drive of this size regardless of form. Since receiving it, everyone who has seen it has been impressed. I rated it 4* instead of 5* because of a design feature: the memory is in the cartridge base, which attaches to a lanyard, etc., requiring the user to remove it to plug into the computer. It would have been more logical to put that in the other end [the bullet end] so it didn't have to be removed from the lanyard, and also make it less likely that the cap would be lost. Also, one reviewer mentioned a red light, which this one does not have but which would be good. It would also have been nice if a lanyard or keyring had been included. But it's still a useful product in an attractive form.

This is an OK product. It looks good and has a metallic construction making it much more durable than many of the plastic USB drives. Unfortunately the unit I received had rather slow transfer speeds. When tested, the unit produced a few errors where data was lost (5670 sectors or ~2.7MB) Average read: 14.8MB/s Average write: 4.5MB/s

ts a nice novelty item. My son collects Flasgh sticks. I bought 2. One had the 'guts' stay behind when p[ulling oput of a tight slot . A little glue and problem solved.
