I have not tried these 90 deg. elbows yet, they fit a MDMI just fine though. I don't anticipate any problems...product appearance is good.

I noticed someone saying that this is useless. They are wrong, this is the perfect adapter for cieling mount projectors to keep the HDMI cable orientation vertically into the cieling. Now I have a much cleaner look.

Only thing good about these is they were cheap. Like the other reviewer said, the orientation is all wrong, these are useless in real world use, as they would make the cables stick up and put even more strain on your cable than if they were sticking right out of your machine.

from the looks of the picture, the hdmi male connector is oriented so that the longer side of the HDMI trapezoid is on the top, which is also the same side as the female extension connector. for most hdmi equipment, which has the hdmi port oriented normally right side up (long side of trapezoid up), this adapter would see to make the cable stick straight up from the back of the player, which seems unlikely to be what you would want.
