After the exciting release of its 633X CF card, A-DATA Technology Co. It supports the new SD Association's new class 10 specification with a dramatic performance improvement in recording cameras on the market today. Some consider DSLR the solution to the problem, yet the daunting price on DSLR makes it less accessible for entry-level users. First off, I'd like to commend Meritline.com for always exceeding my expectations as far as shipping an item is concerned. Aside from the fact that you get good deals and free shipping for most of the items they sell, they also ship it very promptly. This has been one of multiple buying experience from Meritline and every transaction is a pleasant one. Now review for the card: this ADATA 8GB SDHC class 10 seems to be fast but to be honest with you, I can barely see any difference in speed if you're using a class 6 of the same capacity. The ADATA was recognized by my digital camera, laptop and card reader right away. The capacity reading from the laptop will give you an accurate capacity reading same with the camera. Download/Upload speeds vary with the amount of info stored in the card, but it is fairly fast, no long waiting. So far very happy with this card but if you are contemplating with the issue of speed between a class 6 and a class 10, there is no significant difference. N

HDtune and HDtach shows it 1MB/sec faster then SanDisk VideoHD Class6. But just to make sure those artificial benchmark are not wrong, I STOPWATCHED it while copying 435MB file. Sandisk 8GB Class 6 - (57sec to 1m08sec) A-Data 8GB Class 10 - (60sec-1m01sec) +up to 0.5 sec to click the start button on Stopwatch. Conclusion: A-data is not significantly faster. If the price is right it will be good for HD-movie captures. If your Digital Camera accept it: Format to NTFS largest chunk size, 16KB works for me, max is 64KB. Overall faster performance then FAT32. __________________________ Tried also SuperTalent 8GB picoC which suppose to be 30MB/sec transfer but write takes more the 1m45sec

Worked perfect out of the box. I own 6 A-DATA cards and have never had a problem with any. All have worked in many different cameras, cell phones and to store data and music.

Great price and worked great in my samsung hz15 camera which records HD video. This is why I purchased the card to use for HD and needed a fast (class 10) memory card.

This is the best priced class 10 8GB SDHC out there in the market. It works flawlessly with my Panasonic Lumix ZS-1. I can definitely tell the difference in HD video recording. Some said this card has compatibility issue, but definitely not with my camera! :-)
