Junk! Worked one (1) day and was erratic even then. Soon got to where it wouldn't register A/C voltage, 120, 240, 480, etc., and could have been dangerous if you relied on the readings. Avoid this one

Defective right from the box. Won't measure anything... it's like the test leads aren't even connected. Not worth the expense of returning. AVOID!

Piece of junk. Received one and dead on arrival, was sent another one and it too was piece of junk. Neither worked gave up on them. Meritline did good on sending me another one, but who checks them to make sure they at least work before shipping out. Meritline beware of what you sell from China.

Works as described -- a stater clamp ammeter. I am wondering if the 1* folks did not read the instructions RTFM or just don't know how clamp meters work. This is my first clamp multimeter and I could not get it to work out of the box, until I watched youtube video describing how clamp ammeters work. And it works juts fine, it was my understanding that was broken. Live wire feature also works after reading instruction pamphlet: light when touch hot AC wire w probe. Great starter clamp meter to try -- compared to $60 in hardware store. Negative: it doesn't work as DC -- no DC ammeter, DC volmeter only 1.0 resolution (1.5 volt AAA battery shows as 1volt). Ohmmeter is also high scale 2K ohm - 1 ohm. It was fine in measuring up my 100K ohm reference resister. For the price, absolutely 5*.

Arrived defective. Wouldn't read amps with the clamp or dc voltage with the leads. Would read ac but incorrectly.
