Do not use old cartridges that have been outside the printer or does not print for a long time.

Refill ink before the cartridge runs out. When you see signs of low ink, such as light colored prints or white streaking, it is time to refill.

Handled carefully, the refill kit works great. Don't let the cartridge get too low, or it will always appear empty to the software. It still prints, but it complains. The refill didn't last as long as I expected, and it took less ink on the second fill-up. I hope the sponge in the cartridge doesn't become less porous. Also, there was some leakage through the bottom of the cartridge when I used the pump bubble to add some pressure to add more ink. This kit will save you mony, and the print quality is fine. Do it.

It's easy to use and good price. The only problem is that when you buy the item it does not tell you every thing you need to know.

Meritline.com Verified Buyer If this worked it would be a great product but ... I filled the original cartridge before the indicator light came on as instructed. Made a mess as the filler leaked when it was inverted to fill the chamber. After it was filled it made a few more copies then it was empty.
