I was disappointed with this. The mouse/keypad is worse than either alone. The keypad is very small - much smaller than the numpad on a keyboard, and is too small for my fingers to be able to type quickly and accurately. When using the mouse, the clear cover over the keypad shifts laterally, coming out of its fully closed position. Basically it doesn't really seat well, doesn't snap closed or anything, and the hinges are loose enough that it moves sideways quite easily, even just from normal side-to-side mouse movement.

Bought this from Meritline, received it very quickly. Not sure why the person before had questions about 60 inch lengh....it IS that long! Plus I bought this knowing it was not a wireless mouse....so did the other person. It works great, plug and play as advertised. GREAT value!

As usual, the product was as advertised, and was delivered promptly after the order was placed. Works fine with XP and Vista systems with no setup required.

It did not work as rec'd. I took it apart and re-secured a connection. So now it works fine. The concept is great and I may have just was sent an anomaly.

Good with one tragic flaw -- I purchased this mouse for use with SolidWorks (CAD package). The tracking is good, buttons aren't bad, the wheel rolls pretty well. Unfortunately, the mouse has a bug which makes it unusable for me -- when you hold the middle mouse button down, this button press isn't sent to the computer for a full one second. This means that middle-drag doesn't work for one second, and middle drag is critically important for CAD. Also, the number keys are a little small, and the mouse moves around a little when you use them, so you won't be as fast/accurate with this as a full-size number pad. That said, for someone with a laptop who needs to enter a lot of numbers, it's not too bad, and you can't beat the price.

The numpad-mouse is and does what is claimed: an optical mouse and a numpad in one, and they both work pretty well on Win XP. I have one thing against it, though: I specifically e-mailed and asked whether it is compatible with Mac, and the answer was "yes," but I was disappointed to find out that only the numpad works on Mac, but not the mouse (except in Startup Manager, where the mouse does work). And then there is the matter of comfort: it passes as a mouse and as a numpad, but neither felt very comfortable. The clicks are not as smooth as I would like, and the shape, a little different than what I'm used to. But I still appreciate the 2-in-1 convenience that it offers. I look forward to putting it to use more once school starts, when we'll have to punch in a good amount of numbers in Excel.

60 inch cable? what where they thinking? this would've been a sweet little laptop mouse if it had a cable half as long (or was wireless).
