Fantastic universal device for holding a mini flashlight on to a bicycle handle bar... or could be used to hold any type of equipment that can be secured onto a handle bar or bike frame itself. That being said, the plastic rings are very fragile and weak. Very quick solution... slip two strong plastic cable ties through the velcro loop where the plastic ring was placed. insert velcro strap through cable ties and will be 100x stronger than the original... dont forget to clip ends of cable ties to tidy up the appearance. :-)

great concept. simple and easy way to hold a torch to your bike. unfortunately one of the plastic rings that are attached to the velcro strap broke on first use. If they had made the little used metal instead of plastic i'd give this 5 stars.

This item has been redesigned and is now bombproof. There's no plastic rings to fail now. Look at the product images, the straps thread directly into the rubber mounting block for both the bars and the flashlight. There is no way this can fail now. The block is made of rubber and it grips the bars and light really well so that if you tighten the straps securely, the flashlight should remain in place pretty well, yet it can be adjusted on the fly as well. I bought 4 of them for my 8 bikes and currently use these with 1000 and 1300 lumen lights which use the 18650 Lithium batteries which are biger diameter than AA. The 1300 is huge and very front heavy and I try to balance the weight as best as possible. Even out of balance, this mount does a great job of holding the light and rarely shifts focus point unless I'm jumping curbs or hitting major ruts or bumps. The concept and design is simple, reliable and is far and away the best method I've seen for attaching a powerful light on a

As other customers have mentioned, the plastic "rings" broke very easily for me. Idea is good, but those rings shouldn't of been made out of flimsy plastic.

plastic rings holding Velcro snap with any real tightening force but the rubber mounts and bombproof.replace the plastic rings when they break with keyrings and this will last forever. rubber stays in place grips the handle bars and mag light nothing moves under very rough conditions.

This nylon flash light holder is a great idea. I ride my bike at night after work for the exercise needed to keep in shape. You can never have enough lights showing cars where you are. This can be mounted on your handle bars or under your seat on the post pointing forward,to the side or to the rear. Plus if something goes wrong with my bike and I need light to see the problem, I don't need to carry tools to remove it like the bolted on type light. Just pull the Velcro straps apart and it's done. Like having an extra hand. Thank you Meritline for coming through again

I got this and the torch q3 light and they go perfect together. I have not tried it on the trails but I tried it on the road. Works for me. I've seen people comment on how it is not durable that the plastic parts break. I'll let you know if the same happens to mine. At the moment I am content and the little q3 light serves great as my bike light with this. :)

The clip attached to my handlebar with no problems. the plastic used for the clip does't seem to flex well for using any flash light. The plastic ring didn't seem to be flimsy but I'd recommend using a strip from an old tire to make it non slip and you wont need to strap it down so hard.

Broke while installing on bike for first use. 2nd Meritline product to fail me in 50+ purchases. I will look into RMA. The rectangular plastic that makes up part of the fastening system snapped with minimal pressure.
