Meritline.com Verified Buyer The mosue worked out of the box under linux -- 4-way scroll, resolution-switching and "turbo-scroll" feature. The "turbo-scroll" feature works great and is truly helpful and enjoyable to use. Cons: 1. This is a rather small mouse. I'm an average-size male and I can hide the entire mouse under my palm. 2. The are no right and left buttons in conventional sense, rather the upper cover is pivoting about the longitudinal axis relative to its base, and in order to press a button you have to rock the entire upper part. 3. The horizontal scrolling is not as sensitive as the vertical one. The "turbo-sctoll" feature does not seem to work for horizontal direction. 4. The two side buttons are used to switch the turbo-scroll, but apart from that are not registered in linux. Perhaps these work in MSwindows -- I have not tested. 5. The usb cord is cheap. It is thin but very stiff. This would be a great product if one can buy it in about 1.5 times larger size.

Meritline.com Verified Buyer I bought this mouse because I wanted one with extra buttons. Unfortunately the software that comes with this mouse leaves the two extra buttons totally useless and unable to be programmed, at least in Windows 7. Searching online for help revealed no answers. Since the mouse buttons cannot be programmed, even a third-party mouse intercepting program can't help with it. I have no idea if it would work better on XP or Vista, the mouse software is ancient by computer standards and most likely will never be updated. It's a nice looking mouse though, and small, so I gave it an extra star.
