I saw that someone said this won't work with wireless routers. This is a hardwired print server, so you plug it into a switch or a router LAN connection. Airlink makes a wireless version that doesn't need a hardwire connection. However, once you have this connected to your printer and to your LAN, your wireless computers, notebooks, netbooks, etc. will discover it and print just fine.

I have 3 of these and they work great. I have a Canon mp780, Epson R200 and an Olympus Dye Sublimation Printer. Check to make sure your printer is supported. You load a small client software module on each computer. The swr discovers each AMPS230 and lets you connect with the printer. You should have the printer drivers fully installed before you try to connect the first time. The client swr is working for me under XP, VISTA and Win7 Starter. All 32bit.

I'm pretty satisfied with this MF Printer Server's smooth performance. How can airlink101 make it with such a low price... This is far more inexpensive than most other brands.

A wonderful piece of equipment that saves me the problem of saving to a thumbdrive, opening my desktop computer, and then printing. Highly reccomended

What I found out in the fine print from the manufacturers website. This print server will not work with a wireless router. So I'll resell it.

I am using a Canon MP-210 printer which was not listed on the compatibility list and am that it worked with this print server. Overall I would recommend this product but would recommend reviewing the compatibility list on their site before purchasing. The only issues I have are 1) it will disconnect from the printer after some idle time and have to reset it and 2)my laptop will loose the connection altogether and not print. Haven't narrowed down the issue to be my network or the print server yet. But very good product for the money especially if your printer is on the list.

Mixed feelings with this item. I've tried this with 2 different printers in different networks and its hit or miss on whether your documents would print properly.

It may work fine, but I wouldn't know because my printer is not compatible. I should have done more research before purchasing because this print server is compatible with very few printers. I didn't figure out just how limited until after spending an hour or so trying to set it up with no success and no indication of why. Only then did I do some browsing on the internet and found a document buried on the website that indicated which printers were compatible.

Great product and great price. I should've got the wireless but am completely satisfied with the wired version. I don't have to worry about experiencing any dropouts.
