Love this product! I have one of my PC put sorta faraway from my router, and it kept getting disconnected from time to time with very poor signals. My friend told me to try this one, and it really works! With its high gain antenna, my PC finally can run smoothly online with very stable and strong signals, as well as less interference too. Highly recommended!

best wifi reception of any device I've tried and I administer hundreds of PCs for a living. Although, I will admit I've only used Dell, Intel internal wifi and belkin usb and internal adapters. I put an aluminum wok lid behind this device, put it in a window and and I pick up a very good signal from inside a residential type building over 50 meters away (had to remove my aluminum window screen though). Software utility provides some good info, would be nice if you could sort by column (ie sid, signal strength, etc) but for most that won't be a problem. My house overlooks a well populated valley and I pick up about 50 sids...

This was used to update and improve the wireless on an older iMac. Going from b to n and with the extra gain, made major improvements in both signal and data rate. It worked and installed without any problems

I would not recommend this one. First off the drivers on the cd are no good, you need to download the drivers from the Airlink101 site to get it to work halfway right at least on an xp machine. The through put was up and down and not any better than other smaller, simpler, and cheaper Airlink adapters. It did seem to detect more routers but did not do any better on mine than other adapters, actually worse.

Problems downloading and surfing with original disk drivers on XPP. If you have problems download drivers with utility from web site and then do an MS update for the Realtek driver. This will at least work but it is still stop and go sometimes. I get better results from other Airlink usb adapters. I would not recommend this one.
