    This item is misrepresented and the product description should contain the phrase, "Some cards may require an adapter". After purchasing the product and receiving the item in the mail, I open up the package to find out that there is no CF card slot. My sole purpose in this purchase was to get a CF card reader. The description of this item states that it reads CF cards along with many other types, yet on the back of the package I received it states that "some cars may require adapter". I see that nowhere in the description on this web page. I would love to return it, but the shipping charges (which I am responsible for) cost me just about as much as I bought this item for. I am very dissatisfied with this product, with Meritline for omitting this crucial piece of information, and will no longer continue to shop at Meritline for I cannot trust the accuracy of their product specs. Buyers beware.

    I agree with the previous reviewer....this does not read CF cards like the item description says !!!! It was the main reason why I bought this !!! Buyer beware.....very disappointed because it is not worth the money to return !!! Meritline has let me down again....might be the end of the road for me here !!!!

    I was dissatisfied with this item because it did not perform as advertised. It claimed to accept xD cards but it does not. The ability to read xD cards was one of the major reasons I purchased it.

    This reader does NOT read all cards. In fact, it only reads FOUR formats. I specifically bought this because it was advertised to read XD cards. 8 of the 12 formats that it is advertised to read have an asterisk next to them and a small footnote indicating that an adapter is required. Another CHINESE piece of crap wrapped in false advertising.

    1-foot cord makes it almost impossible to access when plugged in unless your computer sits on top of your desk. Seems to have a jack for a power adapter, but there is no information on the unit or the package that tells you any specs.
