It's actually a pretty bracelet for the price, though it's plastic and pot metal--not turquoise. I do believe the description was an honest mistake--Meritline always gives good value for the money, and they did change the metal from sterling (as it was listed originally) to alloy. I kept it, and plan to give it to one of my grandchildren.

Meritline.com Verified Buyer My wife likes this, even though the description changed after I received this. Originally it stated it was sterling silver. I don't know what "alloy" it is made of.
