    absolutely terrible. thing wouldn't keep a charge for my iphone 3G. Only good thing is that I got refund no questions asked.

    DOES NOT WORK WITH IPOD TOUCH 2G... SIMPLY CONNECTS/DISCONNECTS REPEATEDLY. WORTHLESS WASTE OF 99CENTS.

    I have an iPod Touch 2nd Generation, and with it, this cable will only charge. It does not function as a data cable. Also, the iPod connector does not have those little prongs that make for a secure connection to the iPod. You know, the ones you have to release by pushing the release buttons on the side of the connector? This is actually a plus if you charge your iPod a lot. I hate pushing those little buttons to release the connector!

    Cable charges and syncs great. The charger head is slightly larger than the original Apple charger. It would not fit through the hard-shell case that I have my iPhone 3gs in.

    This cable is only for charging; it does not work as a data cable, at least on my iPod Touch. Seems to charge the iPod OK, but iTunes does not recognize it as being connected. I paid half price for it, so I guess I got what I paid for - half functionality. I really wish Meritline would get the facts straight in their descriptions of the products. A charging-only cable can be useful, but I wish I had known this before I bought it. Also, there are no locking tabs to hold the connector in to the iPod. It fits snugly, but usually the connector has those little buttons on the sides to release the locking tabs. This connector does not have that.

    Works great with my 3G iPhone!!!! Just give them 3 to 4 weeks shipping time and you get a great deal.

    I ordered 2 of these for both of my computers, since they were at such a cheap price. One computer I use all the time, the other for simply business. Well, the data cable on the first computer (the more used one) stopped functioning completely 2 weeks into use. I had to take the data cable from the other computer to use for my main one. So far, it's been holding up fine. Maybe I just had messed up data cable?

    after I plugged into my computer and my iphone. Suddently, I smell plastic burn so I touched the data cable and it starts get hot. I unplugged it and never use it again. I have no problem with the origin data cable came with my itouch before. please check the quality.
