Product does appear to perform as advertised although - I do not recieve any other channels than the an1 version of the antenna. Also nothing on the product shows that this is the AN2 antenna. It is the exact same size as the AN1 antenna even though the documented specification says it should be larger. I checked the manufacturers web site and it is the same as yours. The manufacturer agrees that nothing is printed on the product to say AN2 it is only on the packaging. Since I have both antennas ,in my case I didn't need to spend the $15 for the AN2 .

The Artec AN2 antennas (I have two) work very well. Every channel that is available in my market I get clearly and with a solid signal. One is in my living room, next to a window, and it pulls in the 20 channels I want as well as 10 or so I don't need. The kitchen, located in the center of the house gets the same number of channels with only a 10-15% signal loss difference. For me, these antennas work very well and Meritline had the best price.

I had tried several digital antennas in the past and never had any luck until I got this one. I got mine free with a DTV converter box, so I wasn't expecting anything from it, but I plugged it in to see what it would do. I was utterly shocked and amazed at the number of channels it was able to pick up. We had to play around with it a little bit to get it positioned the optimal way to pick up as many channels as we could. But after we got it set, we were delighted with the performance. I would say this is definitely a good by for anything less than 20$. Whether you're using in on a std television with a DTV converter box or an HDTV (we're using one on each), it should do a good job for you. I have already suggested it to 3 family members, which I wouldn't do unless I felt confident in it, as I am their technical support line and don't need any more "business" than I already have.

Got on sale for $ 4 and thas what it is worth. Probably works well with strong signal or in the city. Definatly not for weak signals. Small, six by seven inches.
