To answer the other comment left on here: This is a Blu-Ray player; not writer. It does write DVD's, but the description is clear that it is a reader. Not sure why they are bundling it with a BD-ROM disk, though. Confuses the situation for those who don't read the description carefully.

Meritline.com Verified Buyer Very attractive design. Plays Blu-ray DVD's well but the included software isn't exactly first rate. The biggest drawback is that it won't record. When I place Blu-ray media in the recorder it takes itself offline. Very frustrating and not what I want from a burner.
