PRO - Recently got this cute little POWERHOUSE of a player. YES it sees & plays almost every movie & audio file out there. YES it knows how to do the formats of hard drives [Windows & Linux formatted] & flash drives. GREAT... Price was when i used a MERITLINE.com COUPON. THUS It Does Help You To SAVE By Using MeritLine's Coupons. CON - The only 2 cons... Like with many modern devices that you have to plug in to use the house power the plug is a wee big for some extension cord plugs or even using more than one plug on the wall plug.[It is a transformer attached to the plug] THUS you will need a 3 way plug to fit all your other devices on the same power extension cord or wall outlet. THE other con is they do give you AV cords but at only around 2 feet long i couldn't plug it into my DVD RECORDER's extra jacks & the machine. You might need to just go to a store & buy some 6 foot AV cables.

This media player works fairly well and you really can’t go wrong with it if your objective is to play videos. Viewing pics is a manual job since there is no slide show provision to automate the viewing of the pics. When compared to the media players on the market, this one is superior in most areas and provide far more options and adjustments, and possibly too many options. For instance, there are some options for the displaying of closed caption files, but there is none that offer white lettering on a black background so no matter what color you choose, the lettering often mixes into the video background when the same color is displayed behind the lettering. Another is when you adjust the color, contrast, and other video control levels for one video, the adjustment becomes the default which requires readjusting the controls for videos whose exposure, colorization, and contrast settings were correctly set in the first place. There should be a default setting selection, but there
