Meritline.com Verified Buyer Product works as advertised: it splits the audio into both tracks. It's a bit soft, but generally that's what you expect from a splitter. My problem is that the 2 outputs are way too close to each other. If you have any type of normal 3.5mm cables, they will not be able to fit together. I was lucky to find two thin ones and jam them together. It's a very tight and scrapping fit, but it works. I'll be buying something else so that I can use all my audio equipment.

Meritline.com Verified Buyer I have never been dissatisfied with a purchase from Meritline, ever, until now. I bought the "2 pack 3.5mm Male to Dual Female Audio Splitter Adapter White". Upon delivery, I noticed two things right away. One adapter was marked with the Apple logo (probably a knock off and not an actual Apple licensed product) the other not. The one with the Apple logo had a crack in the case along one of the top compound curves along the side from front to back. Although both demonstrated good solid connector fit male and female, the right channel audio was almost non existent in both units. Further, each completely disconnected the in-line audio adjustment on the Apple headphones when connected. The other volume controls on my iPhone worked fine. I guess in this case "the price was right". They were cheap at a few bucks and change for both. Not worth returning, but basically crap. I'm still shopping for a good adapter.

This splitter is great. I have used other splitters and the audio on my newer, nicer headphones always sounded like all I could hear was sound from rear surround sound speakers. It was quiet, no voices. Just weird. I think it has to do with the extra connector spot (4 vs. 3) on the plug (my other splitters only have 3). But these splitters work well with my new headphones and I couldn't be happier. It's also nice because the plug part of the splitter is very small, narrow in diameter, making it fit my tablet with the case well.
